The
new eXtreme Nitro HD to be Announced at SIGGRAPH 2000
Rancho Cucamonga,
California (July 25, 2000): CELCO’s line of eXtreme film recorders will
have a new addition with the eXtreme Nitro HD being introduced at SIGGRAPH
this year. This new film recorder combines the high resolution (up to 8K)
of its Nitro predecessor with the high-speed, high definition capabilities
of the eXtreme HDR.
The output
capabilities of 1920 x 1080 High Definition format are now available to
the Nitro Film Recorder line with the release of this new film recorder.
With Image output in just under 5 seconds per frame, it also incorporates
new features such as shooting images as interpositive images to make a
digital IP. Other new features include an optional 2000-foot magazine
upgrade.
CELCO has also
continued making technological advancements to its EBX Advanced CRT
technology which deflects an electron beam by non-mechanical means for
increased reliability over laser systems. The system’s software
engineered by CELCO, is able to sharpen images on the fly; it also
contains interpolation tools for increasing resolution.
CELCO will be
exhibiting at SIGGRAPH 2000, booth 2420 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention
Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
